Peace Youth is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first SUSTAINABLE LIVING EXPO in collaboration with LEPOCO (Lehigh Pocono Committee of Concern), to take place at the Palisades High School, Earth Day Weekend, Saturday April 23rd from 10am-4pm.
The Expo will showcase businesses and organizations in our community who are committed to healthy, sustainable living practices. This year’s focus will be on ethical energy and how to make the switch.
The expo is a one-day event that will be split between vendors and speakers. We will have lots of information on how everyone can make an impact, switch to renewable power, weatherize their home, save money, and live a healthier, low-impact life. There are lots of amazing people and businesses in our community doing this already, and we want you to know about them, or to become one of them!
And to make sure it’s a really fun day, we’ll have incredible food organized by PEACE-Youth to raise money for outreach efforts in our community.
Our hope is that everyone will walk away learning something important, and possibly wonderful, that will inspire them to commit to more ethical choices about energy and life!
We are currently enlisting volunteers, vendors and presenters. If you are interested in participating, please contact Ann Marshall firstname.lastname@example.org or Kathy Gentner at email@example.com phone: 267-884-2388
